Experience Rome like a local

From ancient monuments and iconic museums, to theatres and shopping (and oh, the amazing food!), Rome is a fascinating city with no limits to what you can see or do.

But when it comes to food, most guidebooks and bloggers will send you directly to touristy spots.

We bet you a plate of carbonara that if you Google ‘The Best Restaurants in Rome’, almost every blog will have the same 10 places listed again and again. The views and people watching might be nice, but who wants to travel all the way to Rome for a touristy spot with no locals in sight?

Joining a food and wine tour of Rome is one of the best ways to experience the authentic side of Rome’s food culture and to ensure you are eating real Roman dishes at restaurants locals know and love.

Our local food guides aren’t just bringing a sense of humor, they’re experts who lead you through the backstreets of Rome and share a taste of local life with you. Each neighborhood in Rome has its own signature flavors and unique history, from the world-famous supplì in Trastevere to the Dolce Vita legends around Via Veneto. Welcome to our world, tucked away in the city's lesser-known corners, far from the clichéd tourist trails.

Leave our Rome food tours happy & full, but also equipped with the confidence and insight of a true Roman insider.
